We had so much fun traveling all over this past weekend to game stores from Madison to Milwaukee! We talked to several store owners and a few said they would put our game out on their shelves! We are in stores, people!!
We are so grateful to the owners of the stores that we visited. The managers or owners that we chatted with were some of the nicest people I have met. If you have never been to a local board game store, you should definitely head to one soon!
Ok – here’s where you will find our games so far…
We love Jen and Robyn!! They were the first game store EVER to have Haunted Inheritance on their shelves. Not only are they awesome people but their store is one of the best. …and now they have Haunted Inheritance copies for you to purchase! Yay!! They are located in Mukwonago, WI which is in Waukesha County. Thanks Oddwillow’s!
We didn’t get a picture of it but they literally have a giant smiley face on the side of their barn! You may have seen this fun factory driving along I94 between Milwaukee and Madison in Delafield, WI. Maria chatted with us and offered not only to have our game in their store, but she wanted enough to make a display with them! So. Much. Gratitude. We met Justin about three years ago at our first Strong Tower Gamers Convention. He and his friend Alex had just opened a gaming cafe called Beyond The Board. When we saw him this year, he told us to stop by when we got our game. We did and they purchased one for their game library! If you are looking for scrumptious food and a great game night, we definitely recommend Beyond The Board in Brookfield, WI. You could even play Haunted Inheritance!
Ok… we are not quite on the shelves of I’m Board, but Bryan (the awesome owner) has agreed to sell our game at Gamehole Con here in Madison, WI this weekend! He will have the games available to purchase. If they sell well….well, well, well… we just may end up on the shelves of all three of these amazing neighborhood game stores!
We cannot thank these stores enough for taking a chance on a new company. It’s been so fun to be on this journey. We have quite a few more stores that we didn’t get to see their owner or manager.
