Getting a Kick with LuckOne of the questions we get asked most often is: “When is Luck coming out?“
Well, we hear you and have decided to launch a Kickstarter campaign for Luck: Legends of Ireland! If you are one of those people who have been waiting and asking, stay tuned.
On St. Patrick’s Day, we will send you a link to our Kickstarter landing page.
You can share this page with friends and family who you think would like Luck! Bonus!! There will be a pledge section where you can earn a unique discount or item. This way, we know who is in it to win it! (That means you want to Kickstart it.)
Also, look for chances to try out Luck at the upcoming conventions & game nights:

Artist Wanted!
Have you ever wanted your art to be on a game board? Pizza With a Fork is looking for an artist familiar with Ireland’s beautiful scenery to create a commissioned landscape painting for the game board of our next game, Luck: Legends of Ireland.
Those of you who have played Luck know that the center of the gameboard is shaped like a shamrock, with the path traveling along the leaves. We want the edges of the gameboard to depict your journey through the varied landscape of Ireland, including the highlands, forests, coasts, and towns, and we would like it to be painted rather than computer-generated.
Help us share the beauty of Ireland with gamers everywhere! If you know someone who would be perfect for this project, please forward this message to them. And if you are an artist interested in this project, send us a reply to pizzawithaforkgames@gmail.
Midwinter Recap:
Midwinter Gaming Convention was a blast as usual, and we were so glad to see many of you there! Thank you so much for visiting us in the Small Press/Indie Publisher room or for playing games with us in the main ballroom. We had a great time catching up with you.
There were two firsts at this convention!
- On Thursday at the Playtest Party, we debuted our new party game, Honorable Mentions! The playtest went really well, with people wanting to take it home with them, and someone even commented on Sunday that their favorite game of the week was Honorable Mentions. That made us feel all glowy inside.

- On Saturday, we held our first-ever Float Your Boat tournament. And let me tell you, it was a tense competition! Two teams competed head-to-head at all three levels of play, from easiest to hardest, and one of the rounds even came down to one card! Both teams took home prizes, and one team even got a special trophy provided by Midwinter Gaming Convention staff. Missed out? Your next chance to participate in a Float Your Boat tournament is coming up at Evercon in Wausau, WI!
Back for More EVERCON!:
We had such an amazing time at EVERCON last year that we are back for more! No vendor booth this time, but Heather and David will host games and run a Float Your Boat tournament! And look for Grant, too, having fun and keeping us company.
